Nikki qualified in 2002 and after a few months in mixed practice she secured an internship at Liphook Equine Hospital. This was a steep, but highly enjoyable learning curve in all things equine and where she developed her passion for anaesthesia. She has been in 100% equine practice since then and enjoys all aspects of equine work.
Before joining Ashbrook she spent five years working with Hartpury Equine Veterinary and Therapy Centre, diagnosing, treating and rehabilitating poor performance, back pain, and lameness cases. Her other interests include anaesthesia, critical care medicine, neonatal medicine, and care of the geriatric horse.
