Ellen has always been enthusiastic about equine orthopaedics (diagnostics and surgery), as well as general surgery, especially colic surgery. Ellen thrives on the challenge of reaching a specific diagnosis for each case and then devising a treatment and management plan to return the horse to the level of activity desired by the owner – be that a pasture pet or a elite athlete.
