Roger Dixon qualified from Edinburgh University in 1999. He spent 4 years in a busy mixed practice
in Lancashire, ultimately undertaking the majority of the equine work within the practice. In 2003 he migrated to Perth,
Australia to spend a stud season working with one of Western Australia’s leading stud vets.
Roger joined Ashbrook upon
his return to the UK in 2004 and has overall responsibility for the
Fertility Services. During the breeding season, Roger
is kept very busy running the artificial insemination programme at Ashbrook and is usually found at the back of the mare
examination stocks! Roger became a Partner at Ashbrook in 2009 and enjoys mountain walking, sailing and spending time
with his young (and growing!) family.
