Manipulative Therapy
Mark Windsor runs a clinic at the Hospital every Friday. He is licensed by the Association of Classical Manipulators and the Association
of Osteomyologists, and uses a wide range of manipulative techniques.
Mark provides an invaluable complimentary therapy and specialises in
the treatment of neck, back and pelvic problems in horses and ponies. Whether the pain is the result of a twist, fall, sporting injury or
just a poorly fitting saddle, a course of therapy from Mark can be extremely useful.
Back pain can be an especially frustrating condition for your vet to treat. However, manipulative technique provides
an effective means of dealing with back pain and muscle spasm, helping to aid your horse's recovery.
Mark Windsor qualified in 1984 as a McTimoney chiropractor in both humans and animals. Today, as well as running his clinic at Ashbrook, he travels around
the UK and Europe working with horses. He works with a number of top competition horses, and has treated the British Showjumping team for the
past 12 years, often abroad.
Appointments at the clinic can be made through your vet
or by contacting the Reception at Ashbrook.
